Spoilers for WandaVision and What If...? aheadIt looks like there really is no happy ending for Wanda and Vision, one of the most beloved couples in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.
After suffering with the characters played by Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany on Disney+'s show WandaVision, animated series What If...? gave viewers some more heartache over the two superheroes' fate.
Created by A.C. Bradley, the animated series explores what would happen if major moments in the MCU films occurred differently. Vision appears on the series too, voiced by Bettany, while Wanda is voiced by a different actor than Olsen.

"First Wanda brings Vision back to life in Westview and now Vision is trying to keep zombie Wanda alive and literally dies bc he can’t leave her or live without her god I hate it here!" one fan wrote.
"marvel is SICK for this parallel wanda and vision could never catch a break in any universe," another fan noted a parallel with Avengers: Infinity War.
"VISION STILL LOVES WANDA EVEN IF SHE’S A ZOMBIE. THE MF EVEN FEEDS HER," another fan wrote.
"Marvel really just made us watch Vision die for like, the fifth f*cking time. Y’all are evil," one person tweeted.
