It’s a sweet fantasy today for R&B lovers. On Monday (Oct. 22), Mariah Carey announced her Caution World Tour, in support of her 15th studio album of the same name, set to kick off in February 2019.
Carey’s 22-city city run, which only includes the North American leg so far, will begin in Dallas and work its way through the likes of Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Philadelphia, and New York City. Live Nation calls the Caution World Tour the One Sweet Day singer’s “most intimate tour yet.
The pop diva’s most loyal fan base — known as the ‘lambs’ — who are part of the singer ‘s official online fan club dubbed ‘Honey B. Fly’ will be first ones to have access to the singer-songwriter’s tickets starting Tuesday (Oct. 23). Following that day, passes will be made available to the general public beginning Friday (Oct. 26).
Each Caution World Tour ticket purchased online will include either a digital copy or physical CD of Caution, set to hit stores on Friday, Nov. 16). The Long Island native has so far unveiled “GTFO,” “With You” and “The Distance” from the upcoming LP with the likes on DJ Mustard and Ty Dolla $ign on the two latter tracks.
The upcoming trek will be Carey’s 11th headlining tour. The mother of two first went on a rotating trek in the United States 1993 with full confidence after she declined to for her first two albums.
Carey took to her 7.3 million followers on Instagram in the excitement of the announcement, captioning, “I can’t wait to perform songs from the new album as well as some of our favorites!”
